Training video formats that work for Dubai companies
Four formats cover almost every training brief. Presenter to camera is the right choice when the person matters: a head of department explaining a policy, a safety officer walking through an induction. Screen recording plus voice is for anything that lives in software, and the voice can be the trainer or a booked voiceover, quoted separately. Demonstration on the floor is for physical procedures: a technician changing a filter, a nurse running a check-in, a barista following the recipe, filmed over the shoulder and in close-up so the viewer sees the hands. Interview-led culture films are the fourth, used for onboarding and internal communications when the point is to make new staff feel they already know the team.
The format is chosen per module, not per project, and most series mix them. An onboarding series for a clinic in Dubai Healthcare City might open with a presenter-led welcome, run three demonstration modules at reception and in the treatment rooms, and close with a screen-recorded walk through the patient management system. Is this a course that teaches video, or production of training videos for our staff?
Production. This is a service for companies that need training, onboarding, SOP and induction films made for their own people. Nothing is taught about cameras. The output is a set of finished, captioned modules ready for your LMS, intranet or WhatsApp groups, filmed at your premises by one senior operator.
How many training modules can be filmed in one day?
Usually 3 to 5 short modules at one location, when scripts and slides are signed off before the day and each module runs under four minutes. Screen-recorded modules go faster. Demonstration modules that need the floor cleared or equipment reset go slower. The number is confirmed against your module list before the proposal is sent.
Our presenters are trainers, not actors. Will they cope on camera?
Yes. They read their own script from a teleprompter app on a phone mounted under the lens, so nothing is memorised and their eyes stay on camera. Scripts are timed in advance, delivered in short paragraphs, and retakes are cheap because the framing never moves. Most trainers are comfortable by the second module.
