What a corporate shoot costs, and what moves the number

Work here is priced per session and per deliverable, not per image. A half day at your office starts at AED 2,000 and covers a headshot set for a team of up to twelve, including the lighting build, the shoot itself and the edited gallery. That figure is a starting point rather than a fixed rate. What moves it is head count, how many floors or sites are involved, whether group and office imagery is needed alongside the portraits, and how many retouched selects the brand team wants finished to press standard.

A full day covering portraits, team groups and office imagery for a mid-sized company usually lands between AED 3,500 and 5,000. Annual-report briefs, multi-location work across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, or a headshot rollout for a hundred-plus staff reach the top of the AED 2,000 to 7,000 band. Every proposal is itemised before a date is held, so the line for travel, the line for extra retouching and the line for a second shoot day are visible rather than bundled into one number.

Shot at your office, not in a studio

The usual way to buy business headshots in Dubai is to send people to a studio in Business Bay one at a time. It works for two or three staff. For a department it falls apart: slots get declined and rebooked around client meetings, the images come back in batches over several weeks, and the eventual set on the website does not match because the sessions were weeks apart.

The alternative is to bring the studio to you. A portrait setup goes up in a meeting room or a quiet corner of the floor, backdrop and lights included, and the whole team walks in ten minutes at a time between their own meetings. Around thirty people fit comfortably into a half day once the setup is built, and the fee rises with head count above the twelve the AED 2,000 starting rate covers. Nobody books travel, nobody loses an afternoon, and because every frame comes from the same lighting on the same morning, the leadership page looks like one consistent set rather than a collage.

The equipment footprint is deliberately small. A Sony A7 IV, portable lights and a backdrop stand fit into a corner, the setup takes about thirty minutes, and the rest of the floor keeps working around it.

Business headshots and LinkedIn portraits

Most people dislike being photographed and say so within the first minute. The session is built around that. Each person gets a short, directed slot rather than being left to work out what to do with their hands: posture, chin, shoulders and expression are called out as the frames are taken, and the back of the camera is shown early so they can see it is going well. Ten minutes each is enough for a confident, usable result.

Each person is delivered a small set of finished frames rather than a hundred near-identical ones: a straight-on portrait for LinkedIn and company bios, a three-quarter option, and a wider crop with space beside the head for slide decks and press releases. Backgrounds are kept consistent across the whole team so the images sit together on a website grid, and a matching set is shot against a clean white or brand-colour background when the design team needs one.

Retouching is light and deliberate. Stray hair, a distracting reflection, a mark on a collar and temporary blemishes are cleaned up. Faces are not reshaped or smoothed into something a colleague would not recognise across a meeting room.

Team, office and annual-report photography

Once the lighting is already built, the rest of a corporate image library costs a fraction of what it would as a separate booking. Department groups and leadership line-ups are shot in the same session. So is the working-office material every company eventually needs: a real meeting rather than a staged one, the reception area, the floor plate, a desk with a screen on it that can carry a careers-page headline.

Annual-report work runs to a tighter brief. The designer is usually waiting on a board portrait set with consistent framing, a small number of operational images with room for a caption or a crop, and everything at full resolution in the aspect ratios the layout uses. That brief is agreed before the shoot day so the images arrive ready to place.

Coverage runs across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. Travel inside the northern emirates is built into the proposal rather than added to the invoice afterwards. Photography inside your own premises normally needs no permit; public-space or branded-venue work that does need one is flagged at booking, and permits are usually arranged and paid for by the client.

Turnaround, files and what you own

The edited gallery arrives as a link within 3 to 5 working days of the shoot, with every image colour-corrected and retouched, and each portrait supplied in web and print sizes plus the square crop LinkedIn and the company directory need. When a launch or a board deadline is closer than that, a shortlist of selects can be turned around by the next morning and the rest of the gallery follows on the normal schedule. Same-day delivery is possible by arrangement, the same way it is handled on event work.

You own the final images and the raw files, in writing, with no licensing period and no archive fee. Use them on the website, in the annual report, in recruitment advertising or on a stand at GITEX without asking. Individual staff are free to put their own portrait on their personal LinkedIn profile, which is the question that usually comes up on the shoot day itself.

Adding video to the same booked day

The lighting built for headshots is most of the lighting an interview needs, which makes photography and video unusually cheap to combine. A common booking is a morning of portraits followed by an afternoon of filmed pieces to camera from two or three senior people, in one visit, with the stills and the footage graded to match.

If the film is the main deliverable and the headshots are the addition, start from corporate video production in Dubai. If the priority is getting the leadership team on camera properly, the detail is on the executive interview and testimonial video page. Combined photo and video days are set out on the photography and videography services page, and conference and exhibition stands are covered under event videography.

Booking corporate photography in Dubai: FAQs

What does a corporate photo shoot cost in Dubai?

A half day on site starts at AED 2,000 and covers a headshot set for a team of up to twelve. Full days with portraits, groups and office imagery typically run AED 3,500 to 5,000, and larger or multi-location projects reach AED 7,000. Every proposal is itemised before a date is booked.

Can you photograph our whole team in one session at our office?

Yes, and that is the normal booking. The portrait setup is built in a meeting room, then people come through in ten-minute slots between their own meetings. Around thirty people fit into a half day and sixty into a full day; the AED 2,000 starting rate covers twelve, and the quote rises with head count above that. Anyone who misses their slot can be picked up at the end of the day rather than rescheduled into a separate session.

What should the team wear?

Whatever they would wear to meet a client, in solid colours rather than tight patterns, which read badly at small sizes. A short note goes out to the team before the shoot day covering clothing, glasses and the running order, so nobody is surprised when their name is called.

How long until we get the images?

The full edited gallery arrives as a link within 3 to 5 working days. If a deadline is tighter, a shortlist of selects can be delivered by the next morning and the remainder follows on the normal schedule.

How much retouching is included?

Colour correction and standard retouching are included on every delivered image: stray hair, reflections, marks on clothing and temporary blemishes. Faces are not reshaped or over-smoothed. Heavier work such as compositing a missing person into a group shot is quoted as a separate line.

Can you shoot photography and video on the same day?

Yes. The lighting for headshots is most of the lighting an interview needs, so a portrait morning and a filming afternoon combine well in one visit and one invoice. See corporate video production→
