Introduction
Most corporate video briefs in Dubai arrive with a date attached: a conference next month, a LinkedIn launch on Thursday, an investor meeting the marketing team has only just heard about. The honest answer to "how long will it take" depends on the format, on who is approving it, and on whether one person or five are between the camera and the finished file. Here is what each format takes in practice, and where the weeks go when a quote says six.
Turnaround times by format in 2026
The solo column is the delivery time on this studio's bookings, counted in working days from the shoot to a first cut, with the final following one revision round. The agency column is the typical schedule quoted by crewed production companies in Dubai for the same deliverable, including their review stages.
| Format | Solo operator | Crewed agency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive interview or testimonial | 2 to 5 working days | 2 to 3 weeks | Half-day shoot, one or two speakers, one revision round. |
| Event highlight film | 4 working days, or same day | 1 to 2 weeks | Same-day edits screen at the closing session and are booked as such. |
| Conference session capture | 5 to 7 working days | 2 to 3 weeks | Full sessions plus speaker cut-downs; daily recaps during multi-day events. |
| Property walkthrough | 2 to 4 working days | 1 to 2 weeks | Per unit; multi-unit days deliver together. |
| Social content day (reels and stills) | 5 working days | 2 to 3 weeks | Four reels and twenty stills from one production day. |
| Company profile or brand film, 2 to 5 min | 2 to 3 weeks | 4 to 8 weeks | Includes storyboard, one shoot day, first cut in 7 days, final within 14. |
| Internal comms or training module | 1 to 2 weeks per module | 3 to 6 weeks | Presenter or voice-led, captioned; modules batch well. |
Prices checked September 2026. The starting prices behind these turnarounds are on the packages page, from AED 2,000 for a property walkthrough to AED 6,000 for a three-minute corporate film, with most projects landing between AED 2,000 to 7,000.
Where the time actually goes
A shoot day is a shoot day whoever runs it. The difference between a week and six weeks is everything around it.
- Pre-production. A brief, a storyboard or shot list and a question set take two to five working days when one person writes them and one person signs them off. In an agency the same documents pass through an account manager, a producer and a creative before they reach you, and each pass adds days.
- The gap between shoot and edit. When the operator who filmed the day is the one cutting it, the edit starts that evening. When footage has to be transferred, logged and briefed to a separate editor, a week can disappear before a cut begins.
- Review rounds. One consolidated round of notes from one decision maker takes a day to action. Notes arriving from four stakeholders across a fortnight, some contradicting the last set, are the single biggest cause of a late film.
- Versions. Each extra output (a vertical cut, an Arabic subtitle version, a 15 second ad cut) adds hours, not days, if it is planned from the start and days if it is requested after the master is approved.
How to get a corporate video delivered faster
- Name one person who signs off. Everyone else can comment, but one person collates and sends the notes.
- Approve the storyboard or question set before the shoot day, not after the first cut.
- Book the shoot at least two weeks before the date the film is needed for a brand film, and one week for an interview or event.
- List every version you need in the brief: platforms, lengths, languages. They are cheap to plan and expensive to bolt on.
- If the film has to exist on the day of the event, book it as a same-day edit and it will.
Same-day and next-day edits
Event films are the one format where the answer to "how long" can be "before the guests leave". A same-day edit is shot, cut and captioned inside the event day by one operator and screened at the closing session, with the full-length highlight following within four working days. It is planned before the day, not requested at lunch, and it is the workflow behind the IHC and Emircom films on this site. The same-day edit page explains how it runs and what it costs.
Figures used in this guide
- Solo turnarounds:the published delivery times on this studio's five packages (highlight in 4 working days, property walkthrough in 2 to 4, social content day in 5, corporate film first cut in 7 and final within 14), checked September 2026.
- Agency schedules: the 2 to 6 week review-stage timelines that crewed Dubai production companies quote for comparable deliverables, as set out in the solo versus production company guide.
- Same-day edits: two case films on this site were delivered inside the event day and followed by the full edit within four working days.
Turnaround questions
How long does a corporate video take to produce in Dubai?
From one solo operator: an executive interview is delivered in 2 to 5 working days, an event highlight in 4 working days or on the same day, a property walkthrough in 2 to 4 days, a social content batch in 5 days and a three-minute brand film in 2 to 3 weeks including pre-production. A crewed agency production of the same brand film typically takes 4 to 8 weeks.
Can a corporate video be delivered the same day?
Event highlights can. A same-day edit is shot, cut and captioned inside the event day and screened at the closing session, then followed by the full-length edit within 4 working days. It has to be booked as a same-day edit from the start.
What slows a corporate video down?
Three things: approvals that pass through several people, script and storyboard changes after the shoot, and revision rounds beyond the one or two included. Nominating one decision maker and signing off the storyboard before the shoot removes most of the delay.
