What an industrial capability film is for in Dubai and the UAE
A capability film answers the question a buyer asks before a site visit: can this company actually do the work. It goes into tender and pre-qualification submissions where a three-minute film of the plant, the certifications on the wall and the plant manager explaining capacity does more than a forty-page PDF. It sits on the LinkedIn page that a procurement officer checks before the first call. It loops on the stand at ADIPEC or Gulfood Manufacturing while the sales team is busy with someone else. Can you film while the production line is running?
Yes, and the film is better for it. The shot list is planned around the shift pattern with the plant manager so the line is live when it needs to be. The operator completes your site induction, wears the PPE your site requires, stays behind marked walkways and keeps cables out of forklift routes. One person with a compact kit is easy to route around.
How do you record interviews over factory noise?
Interviews are not recorded on the floor. Speakers are filmed in a meeting room, an office or a quiet corner of the warehouse on wireless lavalier mics, and the machinery appears as b-roll under their words. Where a line has to be heard, it is recorded separately and mixed under the interview at a level that does not fight the voice.
Will you sign an NDA for process footage?
Yes. An NDA is signed on request before the shoot. Proprietary processes, unreleased product and client names on packaging are kept out of frame or blurred in the edit, raw footage is handed over to you, and nothing from the shoot goes into a showreel without written permission. You own the finals and the raw files in writing.
