Yes. I'm based in Dubai and shoot across all seven emirates. Most projects run AED 2,000 to 7,000, quoted itemised. Shoots in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman carry no travel charge; anywhere else, travel is quoted separately as its own line in the proposal. Prices checked September 2026.

Where I shoot across the UAE, emirate by emirate
Dubai is the base, and the kit travels. The table shows what each emirate usually books, where the shoots tend to happen and how travel is handled. Drive times are typical from Dubai outside rush hour; a shoot that starts early in Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah simply means an earlier call time.

Multi-day shoots outside Dubai are planned with accommodation as a separate line, so a two-day conference in Abu Dhabi or a launch in Ras Al Khaimah is quoted in full before the date is booked.
Who issues filming permits in each emirate
Permits follow the location, not the camera. Each emirate licenses filming through its own media authority, and the federal National Media Authority steps in where an emirate has no local body. A media permit never replaces the location owner's approval, and anything aerial needs aviation approvals on top. The table lists who issues what, taken from each authority's own website.

Drones need planning everywhere: since September 2025 the GCAA's rules bar recreational drones from carrying cameras, so all drone filming is a commercial operation with a licensed operator, airspace approval and security clearance for the camera, applied for at least two weeks ahead. I don't fly drones myself: aerial shots go through a licensed partner as a separate line, and only where the location's rules allow it.
Every approval is planned in the pre-shoot call, and anything that needs one appears in the proposal with its lead time. Checked on 25 September 2026 against each authority's own website; rules change, so confirm anything that affects your budget before you commit.
How a shoot outside Dubai runs
It runs on the same terms as a Dubai booking: a written brief, an itemised proposal, a storyboard or shot list agreed before the day, and one operator who quotes, shoots and edits. Travel is its own line in the proposal, so the total is clear before you book and nothing appears on the invoice afterwards.
Post-production (grade, sound, captions and motion graphics) runs in-house, so a first cut lands within 2 to 5 working days wherever the shoot was, with same-day edits available for events that need a highlight before guests leave. You own the final films and the raw footage in writing.

Do you work outside Dubai?
Yes. I'm based in Dubai and shoot across all seven emirates: Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Is there a travel charge outside Dubai?
Shoots in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman carry no travel charge. For Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, travel is quoted separately as its own line in the proposal, and multi-day shoots add accommodation as a separate line.
Who handles filming permits outside Dubai?
Each emirate has its own authority: the Dubai Film and TV Commission in Dubai, the Creative Media Authority in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, the Sharjah Media Council in Sharjah and the Fujairah Culture & Media Authority in Fujairah. For Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah the route is confirmed for each booking. Anything that needs a permit is planned in the pre-shoot call and listed in the proposal with its lead time. Can you film with a drone in Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah?
Aerial shots go through a licensed drone partner, quoted as a separate line, and only where the location's rules and the aviation authorities allow it. Since September 2025 all drone filming in the UAE is a commercial operation needing airspace approval and security clearance, so plan at least two weeks ahead.
How far ahead should I book a shoot outside Dubai?
As early as you can. For events at ADNEC or during the October to December show season, two to three weeks ahead is safer. Shorter notice is often possible when the date is free.
