What hospitality video has to do for a Dubai hotel or restaurant
A hospitality film has one task: sell the room, the table or the experience in under a minute, to someone scrolling on a phone who has never been to Dubai. That means the film shows what the booking buys. The view from the balcony at seven in the morning, the plate arriving, the walk from the lobby to the beach. Logos, mission statements and drone passes over the skyline do not sell a room. A guest deciding between two Palm Jumeirah resorts on a booking site wants to see the pool, the breakfast and the bed, in that order, and wants to see them quickly.
Three formats cover most hospitality briefs, and they are priced and planned differently. An OTA listing film is 30 to 60 seconds, landscape, no voiceover, built to play muted on Booking.com, Expedia and the hotel's own site. A social content batch is a run of vertical reels and stills for Instagram and TikTok, refreshed every month or two, which is what the social media reels format delivers. A brand film is the two to three minute piece for the website, the sales deck and the trade show screen, with a grade, a sound mix and titles. Most hotels need all three eventually; the trick is to shoot them on the same day so the second and third cost less than the first.
How a hospitality shoot day runs inside a live Dubai venue
A hotel does not close for a shoot, so the day is built around the venue's own rhythm. Exteriors, pool and beach are filmed at dawn before the first sun loungers go out, and again in the golden hour before dinner service. Rooms are shot mid-morning, after housekeeping has turned a show room and before the next check-in. Restaurants are filmed in the gap between lunch and dinner, when the kitchen can plate for camera without a ticket rail to clear. Guests are never filmed without consent; the operator works with a compact footprint, no cables across walkways, and moves on when a guest sits down in frame. One person with a Sony FX6 and a small light kit draws less attention than a crew of five.
Food is styled with the kitchen, not against it. The chef or sous chef plates the dishes on the shot list, the operator lights each plate for the camera, and the sequence of pours, flames and finishing touches is filmed in the order the kitchen would do them anyway. Staff make the best talent a venue has: a bartender making a real drink, a therapist setting up a real treatment room, a concierge opening a real door. Where the brief needs guests in frame, models are booked as a separate line, and a model release is part of that line. Drone footage over a beach club or a Bluewaters rooftop goes through a licensed GCAA and DCAA partner and is quoted separately. A call with the marketing manager and the operations lead settles the schedule before the day.
What hospitality video costs in Dubai
Three anchors cover most hospitality briefs. A hospitality content day starts at AED 3,400: one venue, up to four hours, 4 edited vertical reels with captions and 20 edited stills, delivered within 5 working days. A hotel or restaurant film starts at AED 6,000: a half-day shoot, one three-minute master with grade, sound mix, titles and licensed music, 2 vertical cut-downs, first cut in 7 working days and the final within 14. Event coverage at the venue starts at AED 3,000 for a half day with a 60 to 90 second highlight, or AED 4,400 for a full day, with the same-day edit described on the event videography page quoted as an extra. Most hospitality projects land between AED 2,000 and 7,000.
The lines that move a quote are listed separately so the anchor never hides them: talent and model releases, drone footage through the licensed partner, a second shooter for a large property or an event running in two rooms, voiceover, Arabic subtitle versions, and overtime past the booked block. Peak season from October to December carries a surcharge that is stated on the quote before you confirm. Bookings run across Palm Jumeirah, JBR, Downtown, DIFC restaurants, the Jumeirah beach clubs and Bluewaters, and Yas Island hotels are covered on the same terms through the Abu Dhabi videographer service with travel built in. A WhatsApp brief with the venue, the dates and the deliverables comes back as an itemised proposal within 24 hours, and you own the finals and the raw footage in writing.

How much does hotel video production cost in Dubai?
A hospitality content day at one venue starts at AED 3,400 and delivers 4 vertical reels and 20 stills within 5 working days. A three-minute hotel or restaurant film starts at AED 6,000 with a half-day shoot. Event coverage at the property starts at AED 3,000 for a half day. Can you film while the hotel or restaurant is open?
Yes, and most hospitality shoots run that way. Exteriors and the pool are filmed at dawn, rooms mid-morning after housekeeping, and the restaurant between lunch and dinner service. Guests are not filmed without consent, cables stay out of walkways, and one operator with a compact kit is easy to route around a working floor.
Do you provide models or talent for hospitality shoots?
Staff usually make the best talent, because a bartender pouring a real drink reads as real. Where the brief needs guests in frame, models are booked as a separate line on the proposal, and the model release sits inside that line so the footage is cleared for paid ads as well as organic posts.
Can you shoot food and drink for a restaurant's social media?
Yes. Plating, pours and table shots are filmed with the kitchen during a quiet service window, lit per dish. A restaurant content day delivers 4 edited vertical reels and 20 stills for Instagram and TikTok within 5 working days, and additional reels are quoted per reel on the same proposal. See the social content day→
Do you offer drone footage of the hotel or beach club?
Drone footage is available through a licensed GCAA and DCAA partner and is quoted as a separate line, with the permit lead time flagged at booking. Jubin does not fly drones himself. For many properties a stabilised walk from the lobby to the beach does more for bookings than an aerial pass, so the drone line is optional.
Do you cover hotels on Yas Island and in Abu Dhabi?
Yes. Yas Island, Saadiyat and Abu Dhabi city hotels are booked on the same terms as Dubai, with travel built into the proposal rather than added afterwards. Sharjah and Ajman venues work the same way, and every quote is itemised within 24 hours. Videographer in Abu Dhabi→
