Product video production in Dubai

Product films for Amazon.ae and Noon listings, brand product pages and paid social, shot at your warehouse, showroom or a rented studio in Dubai. One operator lights, films and edits the day, so the hero film, the 15 second ad cut and the vertical version come from one set-up and match each other. Stills can be shot on the same day.

Product video production in Dubai: what's included

Hero Product Film

A 30 to 60 second film for the product page or the listing gallery: the product on a clean set, the key feature shown working, one clear closing frame with the pack.

15 to 30 Second Ad Cuts

Short versions built for Meta, YouTube and TikTok placements, opening on the product in the first second and cut to read without sound where the platform mutes autoplay.

Feature Call-Outs

Close macro passes on the parts that sell, a hinge, a clasp, a texture, a screen, with simple on-screen text naming the feature. Exported per SKU as separate clips.

Unboxing and In-Use

Hands-in-frame sequences that open the pack, set the product up and use it, filmed at the client's premises or on a small practical set dressed as a home or a desk.

360 Turntable Spins

Motorised turntable rotations on white or black, exported as a loop for the listing gallery and as a still-frame set when the platform wants fixed angles.

UGC-Style Vertical Cuts

Handheld, phone-native vertical clips for Reels and TikTok that look like a customer filmed them, shot on the Sony ZV-E1 and captioned for silent viewing.

Product video formats that sell in Dubai

An e-commerce product page in the UAE now carries video in the gallery on Amazon.ae, on Noon and on most Shopify themes, and the sellers who use that slot tend to fill it with one of six formats. The hero film is the 30 to 60 second piece that sits first in the gallery and shows the product, its main feature and the pack. Ad cuts are the 15 to 30 second versions for Meta and YouTube, with the product in frame inside the first second. Feature call-outs isolate one selling point per clip. Unboxing and in-use sequences show what it is like to own the thing, which is the part a shopper cannot get from a still. Turntable spins and UGC-style vertical clips round out the set.

Which formats a brand needs depends on where it sells. An electronics distributor listing on Amazon.ae and Noon needs the hero film, feature call-outs and a spin, because the marketplace gallery rewards clarity over mood. A beauty or F&B brand selling through its own site and Instagram needs the in-use sequence and a run of vertical cuts, because the sale happens in the feed before the product page. A jewellery or watch retailer needs macro work above everything, with the set built to control reflections. The brief settles the mix before the day, so the shot list covers every format the product will need for the next season rather than one film that has to be re-cut for placements it was never framed for.

How a product video day is set up in Dubai

A product day runs at the client's warehouse, showroom or office, or at a rented studio in Al Quoz when the brief needs a cyclorama or a larger practical set. On site, the kit is a tabletop rig with a motorised turntable, continuous lighting with diffusion and flags to control reflections, black and white sweeps, and macro lenses for close work. The camera is a Sony FX6 for the hero film and ad cuts, with a Sony A7 IV alongside for stills and a Sony ZV-E1 for the handheld vertical material. The set goes up in about an hour in a three by three metre corner with a power socket, and stock never leaves the building.

Styling is where product days succeed or stall. The client normally handles it: someone who knows the product unboxes, cleans, steams and positions each SKU while the previous one is being filmed, which keeps the day moving. A professional stylist or food stylist can be booked as an extra when the brief calls for it, and is worth the line on cosmetics, F&B and jewellery, where a fingerprint or a crooked label costs a reshoot. A practical set (a kitchen counter, a bathroom shelf, a desk) is built from props the client brings or from a short props list agreed beforehand. Talent for hands or on-camera use is quoted separately, and the shot list fixes the SKU order so the highest-priority products are finished first.

What product video costs in Dubai

AED 3,200 is the starting point for a product video day: one location, one operator with the full tabletop and lighting kit, and up to 4 edited product cuts delivered within 5 working days. That figure suits a small range, a launch SKU with a hero film and three ad cuts, or a batch of turntable spins for a listing refresh. A single hero product film with a practical set, talent and a longer edit is quoted inside the AED 2,000 to 7,000 band on its own line. Every proposal is itemised within 24 hours of the brief, so a seller can see what the spins cost against the hero film and drop what the channel does not need.

Four things move the price. Talent, for hands or a presenter, is a separate line. A rented studio is charged at cost when the client's premises cannot hold the set or the brief needs a cyclorama. Styling by a professional adds a day rate. More SKUs add edit time rather than shoot time, since the set is already built, so a run of 20 products costs less per SKU than a run of four. Stills are the cheapest addition of all: the lighting is up and the product is positioned, so a pack shot set from the same day is quoted as one extra line under product photography in Dubai. You own the final films, the stills and the raw footage in writing.

Booking product video production in Dubai: FAQs

How much does a product video cost in Dubai?

A product video day starts at AED 3,200: one location, up to 4 edited product cuts, delivered within 5 working days. A single hero product film with a practical set or talent is quoted inside the AED 2,000 to 7,000 band. Talent, studio rental and professional styling are separate lines, and every proposal is itemised within 24 hours of the brief. See packages and prices→

Can you film at our warehouse instead of a studio?

Yes, and for most ranges that is the better option. The tabletop rig, turntable, lighting and sweeps travel to your warehouse, showroom or office in Al Quoz, JAFZA, Dubai Industrial City or anywhere in the city, and go up in about an hour. Stock stays on your inventory system and goes back on the shelf the same day. A rented studio is booked only when the set needs more room.

How many products can you film in a day?

As a planning figure, 8 to 12 SKUs when each needs a spin and a short feature clip, or 3 to 4 when each needs a hero film with a practical set. Styling speed decides it more than camera time. The SKU list is checked before the quote so the day is planned around your priority products first.

Will the videos work on Amazon.ae and Noon listings?

Yes. Listing videos are exported in the aspect ratios and durations the marketplace gallery takes, with the product on a clean background and an edit that reads without sound where autoplay is muted. Wider and vertical versions come from the same edit for your own site, email and paid social, so one shoot covers every channel the product sells through.

Can we get product photography on the same day?

Yes. The lighting is already built and the product is already positioned, so a white-background pack shot set and detail stills are added as one line on the same proposal. Stills are shot on a Sony A7 IV and graded to match the film, so the listing gallery looks like one supplier produced it. See product photography→

Who owns the product films and footage?

You do. Final films, every exported cut and the raw footage are yours in writing, with no licensing period and no archive fee. Project files are kept for a re-cut when a new pack design or a new marketplace arrives, and a top-up shoot for new SKUs is set up to the same lighting numbers so it matches the first run.
