Promotional video production in Dubai: what's included
Shot List Against the Offer
Every set-up on the list earns its place by selling the offer: the dish, the treatment room, the class in session, the car on the floor, the show unit at golden hour.
Half Day on Site, One Location
Up to five hours at your venue with a Sony FX6, pro lighting and wireless audio, timed around service, clinic hours or the class timetable so trade is not disrupted.
Staff & Customer Soundbites
Short, unscripted lines from the owner, the head chef, the lead trainer or a willing customer on a lavalier microphone, cut down to the two or three that sell.
Optional On-Camera Presenter
A presenter-led version when the offer needs a walk-and-talk, fronted either by your own front-of-house lead or by booked talent quoted as a separate line.
One 60 to 90 Second Promo Film
A landscape master with grade, sound mix, licensed music, price or offer supers and a single end card carrying the call to action and the booking route.
Two Vertical Cuts with Captions
Two 9:16 versions built from the same footage for Instagram Reels, TikTok and WhatsApp status, captioned for silent autoplay and sized for the grid.
What a promotional video in Dubai has to do in 60 seconds
A promo is not a company profile and not a brand film. It has one task: move a specific viewer to a specific action inside a week or two. That means one offer, one location and one call to action, chosen before the shot list is written. A restaurant in JLT promoting a new brunch does not also need its history. A clinic in Dubai Healthcare City promoting a consultation offer does not need a tour of every room. A gym in Motor City filling a January intake needs the class, the coach and the price. Every second spent on something else is a second the viewer uses to scroll past.
The structure that works is short. Three to five seconds of the venue or the product at its best, the offer stated on screen and in a soundbite by the tenth second, twenty to forty seconds of proof (the food being plated, the treatment being explained, the car being driven off the floor, the show unit's view), then the call to action with the booking route and, where it applies, the date the offer ends. Real estate brokers use the same shape per listing, and the property walkthrough service covers that format in detail. Event organisers promoting next year's edition use it with this year's footage.
How a half-day promo shoot in Dubai is run
The half day is up to five hours at one location, and it is planned around your trade rather than against it. A restaurant is filmed between lunch and dinner service with two or three dishes plated for camera; a clinic between morning and afternoon lists with a treatment room dressed and a clinician available for ten minutes; a gym during a scheduled class with the members' consent; a showroom or sales office when the light through the glass is right. The shot list is written against the offer and sent before the day, so the manager knows what needs to be ready and who needs to be there.
On the day the order is fixed: b-roll of the place first while it is quiet, product or hero shots under controlled light, then soundbites from staff or customers on a wireless lavalier, kept to two or three questions each. An on-camera presenter is optional; where the offer suits a walk-and-talk, your own front-of-house lead usually reads better than hired talent, and booked talent is quoted as a separate line when it is needed. Trade is never stopped, and nothing filmed inside your own premises needs a permit. The edit follows in 2 to 5 working days with one film and two vertical cuts, and larger content programmes run as a social content day instead.
What promotional video costs in Dubai, and what moves the price
The half-day promo package starts from AED 2,500: up to five hours on site at one location, one operator with full kit and wireless audio, one 60 to 90 second promo film with grade, music and offer supers, and two captioned vertical cuts. The full-day package from AED 3,200 covers up to ten hours, which suits a school across several buildings, a showroom with a driving sequence, a large venue with an evening service, or two locations for the same brand in one district. Both are quoted itemised within 24 hours of the brief, and a deposit holds the date.
The lines that move the price are predictable. Extra edited cuts (a second offer, a per-branch version, a 15 second paid version) are quoted per edit. A presenter or talent, a voiceover, an Arabic subtitle version, drone footage through a licensed GCAA and DCAA partner, a second shooter and a studio are each separate lines, never hidden inside the package. October to December carries a peak-season surcharge stated on the quote before you confirm. Most promos land well inside AED 2,000 to 7,000, and the videographer cost guide for Dubai sets the promo figures next to event and corporate rates. You own the film and the raw footage in writing, so next season's promo can reuse this season's b-roll.

Promo video in Dubai: FAQs
How much does a promo video cost in Dubai?
A half-day promo shoot starts from AED 2,500 and delivers one 60 to 90 second film plus two vertical cuts. A full day starts from AED 3,200. Presenter, voiceover, Arabic subtitles, drone through a licensed partner and extra edits are separate lines, itemised within 24 hours of the brief. Most promos land inside AED 2,000 to 7,000. See packages and prices→
Is half a day enough for a restaurant, clinic or gym promo?
For one offer at one location, yes. Two or three dishes, one treatment room and a clinician, or one class with its coach can all be filmed inside five hours with b-roll and soundbites. Schools, large showrooms, venues with an evening service and two-location shoots move to the full day from AED 3,200.
Do we need a presenter or a script?
Neither is required. Most promos are carried by b-roll, on-screen offer text and two or three unscripted soundbites from staff or customers. Where a walk-and-talk suits the offer, your own front-of-house lead is usually the better presenter; booked talent and a voiceover artist are available as separate lines and quoted on the proposal.
How fast can a promo be turned around?
A first cut arrives in 2 to 5 working days after the shoot, with the two vertical cuts delivered alongside it. Where an offer has a fixed launch date, say so in the brief and the schedule is built backwards from it. The date is held by a deposit and the balance is due on delivery.
Can one shoot produce promos for several branches or listings?
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to do it. A full day can cover two locations for the same brand inside one district, and additional edits per branch are quoted per cut. Real estate brokers promoting several units in one building book the walkthrough rate per unit in the same visit, with the promo film cut from the best of them.
Do you film promos outside Dubai?
Yes. Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi bookings run on the same half-day and full-day terms with travel built into the proposal, so the price quoted is the price invoiced. Filming inside your own premises needs no permit; public spaces, beaches and free zone sites are flagged at booking and any permit fee is listed as its own line.
