Stills and the walkthrough film from one visit
Most listings in this market are photographed on one day and filmed on another, by two suppliers, which means two rounds of access, two sets of keys, two conversations with building management and a listing that waits on whichever one finishes last. A single visit removes the gap. The stills passes and the video takes run off one shot list in one booked block, so the photos and the film show the same unit in the same light with the same furniture in the same place.
The practical result is speed. A unit photographed on Sunday morning has its edited gallery back by Tuesday and its walkthrough cut by Wednesday, which puts the full listing live inside the same week the keys were handed over. For an agent working an exclusive with a fixed term, that is real selling time recovered rather than a scheduling convenience. The property walkthrough craft behind the moving footage is set out on the real estate video page, and a development launch filmed for Aldar at Fahid Island is in the case studies.
The window problem in a Dubai apartment
The one constraint that defines property photography here is dynamic range. A Dubai unit is usually sold on its view, and that view sits behind floor-to-ceiling glass under a sun that is far brighter than anything inside the room. Expose for the interior and the window turns into a white rectangle, which deletes the single most valuable thing in the frame. Expose for the view and the room goes to silhouette. Phone cameras and automatic settings pick one and lose the other.
The fix is bracketing. Each room is shot as a set of exposures covering the range from the darkest corner to the brightest point of the glass, then blended so the sofa, the joinery and the Marina towers outside all hold detail in one image. Where the interior is very dark, the bracket is extended further into the shadows and the room is blended from a frame exposed for it rather than lifted in software, which keeps wall colours honest instead of grey and muddy. Reflections in the glass, a constant nuisance in tower units, are shot around by changing the camera position rather than left in the frame.
Timing carries as much of the result as the technique. East-facing units are booked in the morning, west-facing in the late afternoon, and a shoot is planned around the hour when the balcony is not in hard shade. Colour is corrected consistently across the set, so a gallery of twenty-five images reads as one property rather than twenty-five separate moods.
Who books a property photographer in Dubai
Agents need volume at a predictable cost. A booked block usually clears two to three units inside one district, so the per-listing figure drops well below a single-unit booking and weekly listing photography becomes sustainable rather than a one-off. Files arrive cropped for the portals and for the agency listing page, so nothing needs resizing before it is uploaded.
Developers need consistency across a release. Show apartment, amenity deck, lobby, podium and facade are shot to one look so the brochure, the hoarding and the launch deck sit together. Where a launch film is part of the release, the stills and the film come from the same visit and the same grade.
Holiday-home and short-let operators need the listing to hold up under scrutiny. A booking platform leads with one cover image, then a set that has to show the whole unit honestly, including the kitchen, the bathroom and the working-from-home corner that guests filter for. Staging is light and practical: surfaces cleared, linen straightened, lights on, blinds set. Access is worth planning in advance, as most Dubai towers ask for building management approval before a camera and a tripod come up, and that is flagged at booking rather than discovered in the lobby.
What a listing shoot costs
A single furnished unit starts from AED 2,000. That starting figure covers the shoot, an edited gallery of the property in portal-ready and full-resolution versions, and a vertical listing teaser cut from the same visit. The full sequenced walkthrough film is quoted as its own line: on its own it is the AED 2,000 property walkthrough package, and added to a stills visit it starts at AED 1,200, so stills and film together start at AED 3,200. What moves the number is unit size, how many amenity and common areas are included, whether exteriors need a second time of day, and how many finished deliverables the day has to produce. Villas, penthouses and development launches sit higher in the AED 2,000 to 7,000 band that most property projects here land in.
Multi-unit days are priced as a block, not per property, which is what brings the per-listing cost down for an agency clearing a portfolio. Drone coverage is quoted as its own line rather than assumed, since developments differ on what they allow and permits, where required, are usually arranged and paid for by the client. Every proposal is itemised before a date is held, so there is no line on the invoice that was not on the quote. Combined photo and video days across other sectors are set out on the photography and videography page.
When the files land, and where the shoot travels
Edited stills are delivered within 2 working days of the shoot as a download link, in both portal-sized and full-resolution versions. The walkthrough film follows in 2 to 4 working days, with vertical cuts captioned and cover-framed for portals and agent social feeds. Next-working-day rush on both is available when a launch date will not move, agreed at booking rather than negotiated afterwards. You own the final images, the final films and the raw files outright, confirmed in writing when the booking is made.
Coverage runs across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, with travel built into the proposal instead of added later; Sharjah bookings are quoted the same way. Agencies posting listings weekly usually pair the shoot with vertical content days so the same operator and the same look carry across the whole feed. Everything is shot on a Sony FX6 and an A7 IV, and edited, colour-corrected and graded in-house by the same person who shot it, which is why the photos and the film match.

Booking a real estate photographer in Dubai: FAQs
How much does real estate photography cost in Dubai?
A furnished unit starts from AED 2,000, covering the shoot, the edited gallery and a vertical listing teaser from the same visit. Adding the full walkthrough film to the same visit starts at AED 1,200. Villas, amenity coverage and development launches run up to AED 7,000. Every proposal is itemised before a date is booked. See the 2026 cost guide→
Can the photos and the walkthrough video come from the same visit?
Yes, and that is the normal booking. Stills passes and video takes run off one shot list in one booked block, so the listing goes live with both formats instead of waiting on a second supplier. See the real estate video page→
How do you stop the window view blowing out to white?
Each room is shot as a bracketed set covering the full range from the darkest corner to the brightest point of the glass, then blended so the interior and the view both hold detail. Where the room is very dark, the bracket is extended further into the shadows so wall colours stay honest rather than lifted grey in software.
How many properties fit into one booking?
Two to three units inside one district is typical for a half-day. Agencies clearing a portfolio book a full day and cover more, which brings the per-listing cost down considerably compared with booking each unit on its own.
How quickly are the edited images delivered?
Edited stills arrive within 2 working days of the shoot, the walkthrough film in 2 to 4. Next-working-day rush on either is available when a listing or launch date will not move, agreed at booking.
Do you photograph Airbnb and holiday-home listings?
Yes. Short-let units are shot to show the whole property honestly, kitchen and bathroom included, with light staging on the day: surfaces cleared, linen straightened, lights on, blinds set. Most Dubai towers ask for building management approval before a tripod comes up, so that is flagged at booking.
